Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping

When will my order arrive?
We pack and ship orders on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Orders are shipped via USPS priority mail, which typically takes 2-3 business days. We also have a USPS ground option for orders weighting less than 1 pound, this typically takes 1-2 weeks. You will receive an email with a tracking number once your shipping label has been printed. Please allow up to 24hrs for tracking to update.

Canada
We also offer shipping to Canada via USPS flat rate boxes. Shipping prices are estimates, if shipping ends up being less we’ll refund the difference.

Bulky Packages
Items such as batting or extremely large order are shipped via UPS ground which typically takes 3-5 business days.

How much will the shipping cost?
Shipping costs are dependent on the destination and the weight of the order. They can range from $7.87 - $13.16. Orders over $150 (pre-tax) going to the Contiguous 48 states qualify for free shipping! Orders that don't qualify for free shipping but are over 5 pounds will be $19.70 in shipping. Orders weighing less than 1 pound will also qualify for a $5.50 shipping option.

Can I add something to my order before it ships?
Maybe! We process orders as quickly as we can. If you would like to add something to your order please email hello@wyldwoodcreative.com and we’ll let you know if your order has been packed yet.

What is your return policy?
If you are unhappy with your purchase or change your mind, we accept merchandise returns within 2 weeks of the purchase date. Fabric must be returned in the state it was received in. We do not accept washed or cut fabric for return. Packaged items must be in their original packaging. Class material kits are non refundable. Shipping cost for returned items will be the responsibility of the customer. If you have any questions please contact us at hello@wyldwoodcreative.com

Do you hold items?
Unfortunately no. Because we sell both online and in our brick-and-mortar store we are unable to hold items. If you would like to secure an item, you can purchase it online and select “store pick up” at check out.

Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes! We would love to wrap your purchase for you. To continue our sustainability efforts we reuse our packing material and fabric scraps for gift wrapping. We will also include a recycled craft paper card. Just select the “gift” option at check out and let us know what to write in the card in the notes section at checkout.

Products

Will you be getting XYZ in?
To see what's coming in check out our "Coming Soon" page here.
The best way to stay up to date with new items is by joining our newsletter!
If you have questions about a specific product, please email us at hello@wyldwoodcreative.com

What is your minimum fabric cut?
Our minimum cut is ¼ yd. Fabric can be purchased in ¼ yd increments. To order less than a yard make sure the first drop down box is set  to “0” then select yardage in the second drop down.

Will y'all make me a custom quilt kit?
ABSOLUTELY! This is one of our favorite things to do. The product listing for our custom quilt kits is here and has all the info you need, but basically you'll pay a $30 deposit that will be applied to the final price of the kit. When purchasing please tell us what you're making and any ideas for the colors/style/mood of the quilt, we'll send you back 3 fabric combinations via text and work from there on what you'd like for the final kit. After we've finalized the design you'll receive a link to purchase the remainder of the kit and pay for any shipping fees. The price of quilts kits is the retail price of the included fabric + a $10 design fee.

Classes

The class I wanted to take is full. Will you be offering it again?
Maybe! Many of our classes are taught by local artists. Repeat sessions are based on the artist’s availability and the popularity of the class. If there is a class you would like to take please let us know at classes@wyldwoodcreative.com. Our sewing classes like Sewing 101, Intro to Garment Making, and Intro to Quilting will be continually repeated.

We add new classes to our calendar on the first Saturday of each month. Subscribe to our newsletter to see what's coming!

Do you offer private classes?
We are currently working to provide private 1-1 lessons. We hope to begin offering this early 2024.

Do you offer kid's classes?
We have a limited offering of kid's classes. Look for the "BYOG" or "Bring Your Own Grown Up" classes. All classes for kid's require an adult to attend with the kiddo. Check out our neighbor Tomato Tomato Creative for a large offering of Kid's classes!

Do you offer scholarships?
Yes! We want to make sewing and creating accessible to everyone. We award scholarships in the order they are received. More info about our scholarships and how you can donate to our scholarship fund can be found here.
