Hand Sewn Bucket Hats
Novoloom teaches you how to hand-sew your own bucket hat as a perfect accessory to any outfit! Our specialized, sew-by-numbers method designed by our team makes it easier to learn than a traditional pattern-based approach. This hybrid workshop (2h in person, 2h optional virtual wrap-up) is perfect for beginners or experienced stitchers that want to try something new. It will cover beginner-friendly stitches such as the back stitch and the ladder stitch, and each attendee will receive a kit with all the materials needed to complete the workshop.
Choose from multiple bucket hat color combinations when you arrive! We will provide a link to an instruction manual with videos if you would like to view any of the steps again, and unlimited help in our Discord community's help rooms! We will also provide assorted embellishment materials if you would like to customize your accessory in any way.

Cancellation Notice: Makers are kindly requested to provide a minimum of 72 hours' notice in the event of needing to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This advance notice allows us to accommodate other makers and make any necessary adjustments to our schedule.
Refunds: Any class cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance will receive either a full refund on a gift card, or a full refund minus a $5 card processing fee to the card used for registration. This fee accounts for the costs associated with the transaction and ensures a smooth and secure refund process.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 72 hours before and no shows will forfeit the registration fee.

| Instructor Bio: | I'm Sabreen! I was born and raised in the Seattle area, and studied design & computer science at UW. My grandma first taught me to hand stitch when I was 6 or 7 -- she was obsessed with cross stitch kits! I've been obsessed with fashion since I was around 9, when my best friend and I used to binge watch taped episodes of Project Runway. I first started my garment sewing journey in college because I felt like nothing off of the rack "worked for me". I found everything from patternmaking to working a sewing machine harder to learn than expected, stressful even (especially when doing projects in my cramped college housing). I initially designed the concept of "sew by numbers" for myself -- just something to keep me sane while basting and pinning clothes. It really worked for myself, so some of my friends and I decided to share it with the rest of the world through Novoloom! |
