Wood & Resin Ornaments

Make your own PNW inspired wood and resin ornaments with mixed media artist, Amy Handy!

In this 90 minute class we will use epoxy resin and precut, stained and assembled wood templates to create a collection of ornaments that are as unique as the maker. Each student will hand mix, color and pour their own set of 4 PNW inspired ornaments that are sure to make the perfect gift or memory keepsake. Ornaments will include a mountain scene, forest scene, sasquatch and the Seattle skyline. For those go getters, additional ornament sets can be purchased at a discounted price.

Completed ornaments can be picked up from the shop after 24 hours, once they have cured.

Resin is very sticky and messy so please wear clothes you don't care about and have your hair pulled back. We recommend bringing an oversized "paint" shirt to work in and a bag to transport said shirt home in. While the resin we will be using is VOC free, it does have a slight odor. If you are sensitive to odors you are welcome to bring a respirator with you to wear while you work.

*If our classes are not financially affordable for you we invite you to apply for our scholarship program! Details can be found here.

*All students will be required to wear a mask for the duration of class for the safety of our instructors.

*Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no shows will forfeit the class fee.

*This class is designed for teens/adults. Students 10-12 are welcome to register along with a paid adult.
