We'll go over:

Paper vs PDF patterns
Printing PDF patterns and assembling them
Measuring yourself to determine size
Grading between sizes
Best practices for prepping and cutting fabric
How to transfer markings
What different markings mean
Terminology overview of pattern instructions like edge stitching, matching notches, attaching facings etc.
Different options for seam finishes.

We will have a class hand emailed to everyone that includes terminology definitions and bullet points of what we'll go over.

This is an information heavy class, please log in ready to listen and ask lots of questions!
You will log off ready to cut out your garment and with the knowledge needed to sew it up! All students will receive a pdf copy of the Fremantle Pants pattern.

Class will be recorded and emailed to students after the event for those who cannot make this time.
