Learn how to create your own fabric landscape using applique embroidery with fiber artist Melissa Galbraith of MCreativeJ.
This two-hour, hands-on workshop will cover how to pair fabrics to create your own unique landscapes, basic applique and beginner-friendly embroidery stitches like the running stitch, satin stitch, chain stitch, and fly stitch.
Each participant will receive a full class kit that includes an embroidery hoop, cotton fabrics, full skeins of embroidery thread, embroidery needle, sewing pins, backing materials, and printed instructions.
All attendees will be required to wear a mask for the duration of class per king county health guidelines
*Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no shows will forfeit the class fee.

She was born and raised in the desert of Washington state, where her mother instilled a love of making things by hand at an early age. Drawing on her love of nature, Melissa creates whimsical and modern embroidery patterns and kits. She loves sharing how anyone can embroider with her embroidery kits, patterns, and virtual workshops. |
