Fresh Fruit Embroidered Grocery Tote Workshop

Squeeze some fun out of grocery shopping and running errands with this fruity tote bag. Join local fiber artist Melissa Galbraith of MCreativeJ in learning how to embroider fruit onto a tote bag.

We’ll use the back stitch, seed stitch, reverse chain stitch, and French knot to add fruity details to a canvas tote. This in-person class comes with a full kit that includes: 8 Peel stick and stitch fruit designs, full skeins of DMC thread in various colors, a canvas tote, an embroidery needle, an embroidery hoop, iron on stabilizer, and printed instructions.

Whether you're an embroidery newbie or a stitching pro, you're sure to learn new stitches, techniques, and tips!

Masks are strongly encouraged for everyone regardless of vaccination status. Per King County Health Guidelines. Each student will have their own set of tools to use.
