Welcome to our Quilting Mini Series! Perfect if you want to learn how to quilt for the first time or if you want to brush up your skills in a specific area.
This is part 3 of our 6 part series. You can purchase all 6 classes as a bundle here.
In this 1 hour workshop we'll go over piecing you cut fabric. We'll talk about how to get a perfect 1/4" seam, a scant 1/4" seam and pressing tricks for reducing bulk. We'll also cover chain piecing and web piecing to speed up the process
The instructor will spend the first 30-45 min of class demonstrating and the last 15-20 will be for questions. You can watch and take notes or piece along with us. If you would like to sew with us you will need:
Sewing Machine loaded with thread, we like 40wt for piecing
Acrylic Ruler with clear 1/4" mark
Washi tape or painter's tape
Pins
Iron + Ironing Board
Fabric that is cut and ready for piecing
Class will be held via zoom on July 6th from 5-6pm. Class will be recorded and sent out after incase you miss it.
