Pattern Basics

This workshop is the perfect place start if you've been wanting to sew your own clothes. We'll be using the Fremantle Pants pattern from Elbe Textiles to learn about:

Printing PDF patterns and assembling them
Measuring yourself to determine size
Grading between sizes
How to transfer markings
Terminology overview of pattern instructions

You will leave class ready to cut out your garment and with the knowledge needed to sew it up! All students will receive a pdf copy of the Fremantle Pants pattern.

We will have the printed instructions for you to take notes on. We will not be doing any sewing in this class.

We will be following CDC recommendations and ask that students wear a mask for the duration of class.

*Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advanced. Late cancellations or no shows will forfeit the class fee.
