Sewing 101

In this 3 hour class we will teach you the basics of using a sewing machine. From threading and winding the bobbin to troubleshooting tension issues. Once we've got the basics down we will be making reusable tote bags! This class will get you comfortable using a sewing machine and ready for more challenging projects. We'll also cover our favorite sewing tools and notions.
All needed materials are included in the price of the class. We will use our classroom sewing machines and tools. Just show up ready to learn! For this class we do require students to use our classroom machines so that everyone is on the same page.

Sewing 101 is priced on a sliding scale.
You will pay the base price of $50 now and will receive an email asking you to select your Income level. You will be invoiced for the remaining amount (if applicable.) You can pay your invoice when you receive it in your email or at the time of class.
