Teen Sewing Camp

In this weeklong camp, teen students ages 12-16 will learn how to make a unisex style lounge pant.  In addition to learning basic stitching, we will learn how to use a paper pattern, cut fabric, construct pockets and attach an elastic waistband.  Garment construction is a creative and tangible way to practice conceptualizing how 2-D materials can be constructed into 3-D objects (that you can wear!).  Join us for a week of learning and fun!

We will supply the sewing machines and all needed tools. Just show up ready to learn!

We will be utilizing CDC recommendations for sanitizing stations. Students will be required to wear their mask for the entirety of class. Each student will have their own machine and set of tools to use.

*Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no shows will forfeit their class fee. Please make sure you can attend all sessions before registering, there will be no make up sessions offered.

If our classes are not financially affordable for you we invite you to apply for our scholarship program! Details can be found here. (scroll to the bottom)
