Sewing for Kids - Monster Bag

Let’s make Monster Bags!

The Monster Bag is a simple tote bag that students customize with felt shapes to create monster faces!

In this 3 hour introductory sewing workshop, students ages 7-11 will learn how to sew straight and zig zag stitches, turn corners and basic concepts of construction while making new friends and exercising their creative minds.  Join us for a fun afternoon that might spark a lifelong hobby!

All needed tools and supplies will be provided just show up ready to learn!

This class will be held in person at Wyldwood Creative on Saturday June 5th and Saturday June 19th from 1:30-4:30pm. We will be utilizing CDC recommendations for sanitizing stations. Each student will have their own sewing machine and tools to use. Students will be required to wear their mask for the entirety of class. 

Space is limited so sign up soon!

*Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no shows will forfeit the class fee.

Instructor Bio: Cris Wood is a garment pattern designer for home sewists who developed a love of sewing clothing at age 10. If she's not in the sewing room, she's probably busy having a dance party with her 8 year old. She can be found and contacted through her website at
