Quilting 101 Bundle

Calling all wanna be quilters! (and anyone who is comfortable using and troubleshooting their sewing machine.)  I know you've been wanting to make a quilt for some time now so I designed this class just for you! This class is for anyone who already knows their way around their sewing machine but may feel intimidated by quilting.

This listing is for all 5 classes, classes can also be purchased individually if you're just wanting to brush up your skills in one area. Over the 5 weeks we'll make a quilt together from start to finish. We'll cover everything from choosing your fabric to all the ways to finish your binding. Each class will be about an hour long, the instructor will go over all the steps and then you will need to complete that step as "homework" before the next class. We recommend starting small for your first quilt, go for a baby size or small throw!
Here's how it will go:

Jan 21 Week 1: Selecting and cutting fabric
We'll meet on zoom and  start by going over contrast, value, and color theory.
The second part of class we will go over tips for prepping fabric and getting precise cuts. You will learn how to safely use a rotary cutter and how to most efficiently cut your fabric.

You'll walk away from class with the confidence to cut into your favorite fabrics!
